The Report Designer supports a number of features like parameters, drill-down, links, and sorting to provide reports with interactive capabilities.
Parameters provide a user interface whereby the data displayed in your report can be filtered by the user at runtime, to make results more pertinent or to make navigation of the report easier. See Parameters for further details.
When you open a report with drill-down features, part of the data is hidden so that you only see high-level data until you request more detail. See Drill-Down Links for more information.
When you click a bookmark link, the viewer navigates to a bookmarked item within the current report.
See Bookmarks for further details.
When you click a hyperlink, your machine's default internet browser opens to display a Web page.
See Hyperlinks for further details.
Using the drill-through link feature in your report you can navigate to another report for details about the item you clicked.
See Drill-Through Links for further details.
The interactive sorting feature allows the user to sort the data when viewing a report, alphabetically or numerically in ascending or descending order. See Interactive Sorting for further details.
The Document Map (Table of Contents) feature allows you to navigate to a particular report section, or an item in a report. See Document Map for further details.
