Whenever you create a new document in Stardraw Design 7 it will be based on a template which is a predefined set of parameters for the new document.
A template can control everything about a document, from the size of the grid to what layers are created, to what tools are available.
To create a new drawing in your project, go to the Drawings View in the Project Dashboard and click on one of the Available Templates.
Stardraw Design 7 supports five pre-defined templates (or 'Modules') and provides symbols designed specifically for use in each of them. The name of each template is broadly descriptive of the type of drawing you will produce by using it:
Plan View - to show floor plans, reflected ceiling plans and general purpose layouts. More...
You can add to the available templates by creating your own User Templates with custom default document settings.
