If you find that a product that you need is not available in the Manufacturer Libraries you can create your own User Defined Products (UDPs).
To create a UDP:
In the Product Browser, rightclick on a product and select Create User Defined Product from Product.
In a drawing, rightclick on a selection of objects and select Create User Defined Product from Selection.
Each of these techniques will start the User Defined Product Wizard.
If you want to make changes to the Manufacturer, Model Number, Description or Categorization of your UDP, or to make changes to the wizard-based symbols for that UDP, rightclick on it in the Product Browser and select Edit Product. This calls the User Defined Product Wizard and loads into it the existing UDP details for editing.
To delete a UDP rightclick on it in the Product Browser and select Delete Product.
When you have created a UDP you can freely edit any of the symbols that make up the UDP by rightclicking on it in the Product Browser and selecting Edit Symbols; this is a freeform editing mode that allows you to use all of the drawing capabilities of Stardraw Design 7 to make any changes you want, to make the UDP symbols look any way that you want. In every respect, UDPs behave the same as library products that you have synchronized locally:
If you find that a product that you need is not available in the Manufacturer Libraries please inform Stardraw.com by making a Symbol Request. Requests made by users of Stardraw Design 7 are the basis by which additions to the libraries are prioritized and the only way we can know which products you need to have added (we can't guess!).
On the Symbol Request page, click on the manufacturer you want (or, if the manufacturer is not listed, click on the link to "Add a New Manufacturer" at the bottom of the page), and if the product you want is not listed click on the link to "Add a New Product Request".
