Cable Schedule

Choosing File | Export | Cable Schedule generates a project-wide Cable Schedule which contains all of the Attributes of all of the cables in all of the Block Schematic drawings in your project, plus those of the products each cable connects from and to, including the names of the input and output ports to which each cable is connected.  The Cable Schedule is generated as an Excel spreadsheet (.xlsx file).

To create a Cable Schedule select File | Export and in the Export As dialog set the name for your Cable Schedule.  Use Excel or other applications that support the .xlsx file format to view, edit and print the Cable Schedule.

The Cable Schedule contains the following information in the following order.  The number of columns in the Cable Schedule depends on the number of Attributes in your Products and Cables.

• Drawing Name
• 'Start' product Manufacturer, Model Number, Description
• 'Start' product Attributes
• Start Port
• Cable Start, Middle, End labels
• End Port
• Cable Attributes
• 'End' product Manufacturer, Model Number, Description
• 'End' product Attributes
