The Rotate Cursor
is used to dynamically rotate objects on-screen.
When the Rotate
Cursor button is checked and an object is selected, the object will display
its normal handles plus its rotation centre. When the cursor is positioned
directly over any part of the object’s outline, the cursor will change
shape to indicate Rotate mode and you can rotate the object around its
rotation center.
If you move the cursor over the object’s rotation centre it will change shape to include a circle. With the cursor in this state it is possible to move the rotation centre to any position. When you then go to rotate the object it will rotate about the newly positioned rotation centre.
