Available from any drawing tab, the Products View and the Reporting View, File | Export allows you to export current data to different file formats. This includes drawing file formats such as DWG (AutoCAD) and VXD (Visio), and text/page-based formats such as XLS (Excel) and PDF (Acrobat).
Available export options depend on the View that you're working in and the Drawing Type.
File | Export will generate an Excel spreadsheet (XLS) file containing all product and attribute information.
File | Export will save the current drawing to a new file format. The Block Schematic drawing environment also give the option to export cable attributes and associated data as a Cable Schedule in Excel spreadsheet (XLS) format.
