Printing from Stardraw A/V Lite is very versatile: you can print to scale or ignore scale and fit your document to a page. If, when printing to scale, the document is too big too fit on one page Stardraw A/V Lite will automatically mosaic the drawing across as many pages as are required. You can print all of the objects in your document or select to omit certain layers.
Print options are set using the Print and Page Setup commands in the File Menu. Page Setup defines your print scale and margins, Print Setup configures all the other printer options, like which printer to use, paper size, orientation, resolution, colours etc.
Most drawings printed, although they may be drawn to scale (normally one to one), are not printed to scale. The Fit to Page option in your Page Setup dialog means that your drawing will be printed as large as possible on the paper size you've chosen while still allowing margins.
You can decide which layers to print using the Layers page of the Document Properties Sheet. When a layer is created by default it will be printable. If you wish to remove a layer from the print make sure that that layer's Print checkbox is clear. Note that even if a layer is hidden, when its Print checkbox is checked it will print. Always look at the Print Preview to make sure that your print is going to show what you want to show.
If you want to have your document printed by a third party they do not need to have Stardraw A/V Lite to print your work. Anyone can download the Stardraw Viewer which can view and print any Stardraw A/V Lite document.
