Rubber-Banding is the process whereby connections (i.e. Cables or Doglegs) stay attached to symbols when you move them. For Rubber-Banding to work your Cable or Dogleg must be drawn to a symbol correctly, see figures 1 & 2, and the Snap to Connector modifier must be active.
Rubber-Banding is used in the Schematic environments.
Important: to make a connection that sticks and rubber-bands, you must draw your Cable or Dogleg to the point where the cyan connection stub meets the red outline of the symbol. This is the point that defines the connection point. Figure 1 shows a properly connected Dogleg that will rubber-band, Figure 2 shows an incorrectly drawn Dogleg that will not rubber-band.
