Stardraw A/V Lite
is secured using a hardware key, or 'dongle', which attaches to the USB
port on your computer. Stardraw
A/V
Lite will operate fully
for 30 days from installation without a dongle but after that period reverts
to 'Demo Mode' where saving and printing are disabled. Once
in Demo Mode, a dongle is required to permit full operation of the software.
Stardraw A/V Lite can be installed on as many machines as you like and will run normally as long as a dongle is present. This security system is designed to make it easy for a single license to be used on, for example, an office computer, a laptop and a home computer, simply by swapping the dongle which is small enough to fit on a keyring.
The dongle contains information related to your installation and subscription details. A dongle with a current subscription must be present to download program and symbol updates.
