Snap to Connector Modifier

The Snap to Connector modifier operates on Cables and Doglegs, snapping them to connection points on symbols, and maintaining connections as symbols are moved (through 'Rubber-Banding').  This modifier is used principally in the Block Schematic and Pictorial Schematic environments since it is only in these environments that symbols contain connection points.  By default this modifier is always active and circumstances when you would want to switch it off are rare since this would disable the connection of Cables and Doglegs to symbols.

Important: to make a connection that sticks and rubber-bands, you must draw your Cable or Dogleg to the point where the cyan connection stub meets the red outline of the symbol.  This is the point that defines the connection point.  Figure 1 shows a properly connected Dogleg that will rubber-band, Figure 2 shows an incorrectly drawn Dogleg that will not rubber-band.
