The position textboxes are used to display and change co-ordinate locations of objects. If no object is selected the position textboxes will be greyed out. If multiple objects are selected the position textboxes display the co-ordinates of the centrepoint of the multiple selection.
Changes can be made in each of the position textboxes either by typing in a new value, or by clicking on the up and down arrows of the spin control. The amount of change prescribed by each click on the spin control is set by the document’s nudge value. The nudge value is set using the Dimensions page in the Document Properties Dialog.
