Open

Used to open existing documents. This button will display the Open dialog which allows you to locate the document of your choice. The directory that is initially shown in the Open dialog is set by the properties of the Stardraw A/V Lite shortcut in your Windows program menu, or the Stardraw A/V Lite icon on your desktop. Change the “Start In:” field in the program’s properties sheet if you want a directory other than the installation directory to be your default directory.

By default the Open dialog lists files of all supported formats (i.e. files with .S01, .DWG, .DXF, .S2D, .SDP or .FCD extensions). If you wish to view specific formats click on the down arrow in the "Files of Type:" box. This will list all filetypes that can be imported into Stardraw A/V Lite and these types include .SDP (Stardraw Professional), .S2D (Stardraw 2D), .S3D (Stardraw 3D), .DWG (AutoCAD), .FCD (FastCAD 2.72, ShuttleCAD) and .DXF.
