Zoom to Document

When you click on this button the zoom on your document changes so that all visible objects within the document are shown as large as possible on-screen.

Zoom to Document takes no account of the Document Boundary: the important things are the objects in your document. Therefore, if objects are a long way outside the Document Boundary you will still be able to zoom out sufficiently far to see them using the Zoom to Document command. This may not always be possible using the Zoom Out command.

If, by using this command, you find that objects have been positioned far beyond the Document Boundary, you can reset the boundary by using Arrange | Document Boundary.

If and only if there are no objects in your document the Zoom to Document command will show the document boundary as large as possible.
