This command is only available if there are linked objects within the current document.
When selected the Links command will display a dialog which lists all current links within the active document. In this example the document is linked to a spreadsheet (highlighted) and an image. Both of the links are automatic which means that any changes that are made to the source files are immediately reflected in the Stardraw A/V Lite document. If you choose to make your links manual you have to update your Stardraw A/V Lite document by clicking on the “Update Now” button.
If you see the word “Unavailable” in the update column for any source file it means that the file cannot be found. Possible causes are that the file has been moved, renamed or deleted, or the drive on which it is located is not available (e.g. a drive on a network to which you are no longer attached).
The “Open Source” button allows you to open the file in its native application for editing. This is the same as doubleclicking on the object within the Stardraw A/V Lite document.
The “Change Source” button allows you to specify a new source for the link. This could be a new filename of the same type, or a different kind of file altogether.
Breaking the link creates a copy of the source file within your Stardraw A/V Lite document which you can then edit without affecting the original file.
