A transformation is considered to be the rotation and/or scaling of any object. Therefore, if you clear transformations on any selected object, all rotation and scaling actions, whatever and however many they may have been through the life of that object, will be reversed so that the original object is returned to view.
Clear Transformations does not change the position of an object, or any formatting (like changes in fill style, colour, font etc.) that may have been applied to it.
An object or collection of objects must be selected for the Clear Transformations command to be available.
