The Bezier tool is used to draw quadratic beziers. A bezier can be used to depict a line or a curve, consequently the Bezier tool, by allowing you to draw chained beziers, can be used to draw any conceivable shape, from a simple straight line to a complex object with both flat and curved edges. Beziers can be open (when there is no connection between the start and end point of the beziers) or closed in which case they can be filled with a fill style of your choice. Use the Style toolbar to define whether a bezier is open or filled and to apply a fill style.
When you draw a bezier you click down to set the start- (or end-) point, and release to set the control point. If you drag between clicking down with your mouse and releasing you will create a curved bezier.
