The Arc tool is used to draw circles, arcs and ellipses. The basis for all of these objects is an arc since an arc which has a start angle of 0° and an end angle of 360° is an ellipse, and an ellipse whose axes are identical in length is a circle.
When you select the Circle Arc tool your cursor will change to a +. Click and drag on your document to draw an ellipse. To draw a perfect circle hold down the Shift key while drawing with this tool.
